Teach students about the stock market with this easy prep financial literacy activity! Students will get an introduction to interpreting information about individual stocks, such as ticker symbols, dividends, daily price changes, and more.

This activity is intended to be an introductory activity for students learning about the stock market. Students will independently research individual stocks using a stock search website and learn how to locate and use ticker symbols, current prices, high and low prices, dividends, and daily change.

Students will also be challenged to create a basic investment plan using $1,000.

This is a great introductory activity to use before having students try an online stock market simulator!
