Description

This personal finance budgeting activity is perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas but can be used for any holiday. Students will gain practical experience in creating meal/dinner plans and grocery lists on a budget. They are asked to create a menu for a holiday meal and then ‘shop’ online for their ingredients while staying within a set budget.

Students will need internet access to look up the current prices of each grocery item. My students love the practical experience of looking up grocery prices and planning their own meals.
