This financial literacy lesson and circuit practice activity will teach your students everything they need to know about wages and pay from salaries, commissions, and tips!

Topics include:

• Basic laws governing wages from salaries, commissions, and tips
• Annual salary pay periods, including biweekly, bimonthly, and monthly
• Calculating commission wages, including pay with a base salary or hourly wages
• Calculating wages, including tips

The lesson includes Google Slides for easy teaching. Guided notes for students are also included. The guided notes follow the Google Slides and include practice and example problems for students.

Following the lesson, students will have the opportunity to practice their learning with a self-checking circuit practice worksheet.
