Description
Teach students the financial literacy skills they’ll need to understand the tax form W-4 when they get their first job! Topics include the purpose of the form, the information needed to complete the form, and tax-related vocabulary.
The lesson includes Google Slides for easy teaching. Guided notes for students are also included. The guided notes follow the Google Slides and include a step-by-step example of a completed Form W-4.
Following the lesson, students will have the opportunity to practice with six station activities. The station activities will give students opportunities to practice applying vocabulary, analyze completed W-4s, and complete W-4s in a variety of scenarios.
