Description

This consumer math lesson will teach students what they need to know about shopping using coupons and discounts. Students will learn why businesses use them, and how to determine the final price of an item after a discount, including percentage discounts, bulk discounts, and buy-one-get-one discounts.

This lesson includes Google Slides, a guided notes worksheet for students, a self-checking practice circuit worksheet, and answer keys!

The lesson includes a student exploration of store weekly ads, where students will identify the types of discounts being used.
