Complete one to two-day lesson includes Google Slides for easy instruction, guided notes for students, and five stations practice activities. Answer keys are included.
During the Google Slides presentation, students will learn:
- Common Credit Card Vocabulary: Interest, Grace Period, Balance, APR, and more
- Advantages and Disadvantages of Using Credit Cards
- Credit Cards vs Debit Cards
- Obtaining a Credit Card – Including filling out an application and reading disclosures and Schumer Boxes
- Credit Scores and Credit History
After the Slides presentation, students will rotate through 5 station activities that will help them apply and practice their knowledge.
Station Activities include:
- Credit vs Debit Card Sort
- Reading a Credit Report
- Filling out a Credit Card Application
- Estimating Credit Scores Using a Simulator
- Comparing Credit Card Disclosures to Choose the Best Card.
All materials for the stations are included, including the sample credit report, credit application, and credit card disclosures.
