Description
Teach students the benefits of comparison shopping with this engaging consumer math lesson! Students will learn how to calculate unit prices and use them to compare items at the grocery store to determine which items are the better buy.
The lesson includes Google Slides for easy teaching. Guided notes for students are also included. The guided notes follow the Google Slides and include practice and example problems for students.
Following the lesson, students will have the opportunity to practice with a self-checking activity!
How the partner practice activity works: One student will do the ‘Partner A’ side of the worksheet, and their partner will do the ‘Partner B’ side. They have different (but similar) questions, but they can check their answers with their partner because their answers will be the same!
